Happy Birthday

My big 60th birthday with my friends at Arohanui.i had cake and all sorts of yummy food to share.

 

Flavour Lab

I helped make some delicious Banana Muffins.they were very yummy I ate a little bit of one.

Watching Ian blow in the water and make bubbles in sensory.I even put my hand in the bubbles it was so much fun.

Digital Discovery and cooking

Here I am watching Mash the Tv series and really enjoying it on the Tablet.

Just me sitting here making some yummy Golden syrup Dumpling that I really enjoyed,I helped whip the cream and make the dumplings.

 

Bus Ride and reading

Sitting next to my friend Jo on the bus to Bayfair. It was a cold morning so I grabbed a blanket to keep me warm.

Sensory and acts of kindness

I made my own sensory jar filled with water and glitter.

Here I am making my own Butterfly card to give for acts of kindness.i had paint on my hands and put them on a piece of paper to make the wings.

 

Music session

I had a jam session on the Guitar strumming the cords and making music.

 

Sensory in the studio

Exploring corn starch and water that turned into some sort of slim.I didn’t want to touch it to much as my hands were getting a bit dirty.

Looking fabulous in our handmade cloak to make sure it fits well.

 

Matariki

Back at sensory, at Te Puke High, lots of lights and things to play with, and rugs to snuggle into.

Matariki meal …. I’m right at the end of the table, hiding behind the pot plants. Lots of chicken, sausage rolls, salads, fairy cakes and juice!

Here I am playing cards with my friends we are playing last card and having a lots of laughs with my friends.

 

Supermarket and Cooking

 

I went for a walk to the supermarket to buy ingredients to make a peanut butter sandwich in cooking.

I made my Peanut butter sandwich and enjoyed eating it all up.

Papamoa board walk and cooking

What a lovely day for a stroll down Papamoa beach board walk with my friends having a good laugh.

Helping to mix the shortbread mixture in cooking session.i tried a little bit of shortbread when it was ready.

 

Card games with my friends

Here I am playing cards with Hannah ,having lots of laughs and giggles.

 

Cooking and shopping

Helping to make some yummy feijoa muffins to share with my friends at the centre.

Excited to go out shopping in Tepuke.I have my bag ready to go get Centre supplies.

Easter Hunting

What a magnificent day to spend with Jackie who will be leaving on her next journey. I joined the Easter hunt, and wasn’t too bothered with the eggs but all for the giggles. 

 

Warehouse visit and culture session

Having a look in the Warehouse in Papamoa buying some supplies for the centre.

Here I am getting a facial for Pamper Group, of course I am naturally beautiful so it’s hard to do any improvement of course, but the staff did try their best!

Another really nice outing, this time to Pilot Bay at Mt Maunganui. Such nice views with the still water and the reflection of the boats.
